Dr. Nagwa Ibrahim

Dr. Ibrahim is the newest addition to Family Eye Care, joining us in November 2017 shortly after completing her graduate studies.

Dr. IbrahimAfter finishing her bachelor’s degree at the State University of New York at Binghamton, she continued her studies at the Illinois College of Optometry.

Dr. Ibrahim is a Long Island native. She has completed internships in specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, co-management of cataract and retinal surgeries, pediatrics and vision therapy. Being an active member in her community and the NY State Optometric Association, Dr. Ibrahim has participated on missions trips to Honduras and Egypt, volunteered at local health fairs as well as at the Special Olympics.

Keeping up with the latest trends and technology and routinely attending continuing education classes, Dr. Ibrahim is dedicated to furthering her optometric profession. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to new places, and attending community events.

She is also fluent in Arabic.
