Please Note:

DILATING DROPS: If it is your first eye exam in our office, we will want to take a wide-angle picture of the back of your eye called an Optomap. If the doctor feels a dilation is necessary, we schedule an appointment to put drops in your eyes to dilate your pupils. This allows the doctor to get a better view of the inside of the eye. The drops make you sensitive to light and last 2 -4 hours. If you are sensitive or will be coming from a distance, it is advisable to bring someone with you as a “driver” for that appointment. Examinations with the doctors are typically by appointment. You do not need an appointment to pick up glasses or contact lenses, but it is a good idea to call before you come so we can be better prepared to serve you in an expeditious manner.
